A Family Story
Lonza began more than 20 years ago in Ukraine when Julia Halimova founded the brand with a simple idea: to create shoes that women would truly enjoy wearing every day.
As a mother of three daughters, Julia understood how important it is for shoes to be both beautiful and practical. That philosophy became the foundation of the brand.
Over the years Lonza grew from a small family business into a recognized footwear manufacturer with an international presence.
In 2020, Julia’s eldest daughter, Maria Sova, moved to New York and launched Lonza Shoes in the United States — bringing the brand’s European design and comfort-driven philosophy to American customers.
Today Lonza remains a family-driven brand, built on generations of experience and a passion for creating shoes women love.
