This is a really nice quiet luxury style bag. Yes, it looks a lot like a designer bag. It's spacious and elegant. I do wish the leather was softer and more supple-- it's very hard and stiff, and the bag is a little too structured because of that. A softer, slouchier leather would be even more "designer" looking. But all in all a very nice tote that is great for work or everyday. It also looks like it will wear well (because of the stiff, not delicate leather) and I would not be nervous carrying it the way I can with bags that have more delicate leather, so that's a plus to help offset my little bit of dislike for the look and feel of the leather.
